Our services include aerial drone footage (when permissible), twilight footage, and vertical highlight reels optimized for social media platforms. We work closely with real estate agents to create stunning visual media that helps showcase properties and attract potential buyers.

What's included in your typical photo and video package?

Our typical photo and video package includes editorial-style photos covering both wide and detail shots, and a 2-minute cinematic video, featuring upgraded aerial and twilight shots for an elevated look. We also provide 30-second vertical videos specifically designed for Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels & TikTok. Additionally, we offer a discounted price when you book one of our media packages compared to building it a la carte.

Are amenities included in Photography or Videography?

Yes, our photography and videography packages include capturing various amenities in both wide and detail shots as part of our editorial approach. However, if there are specific amenities that you want us to focus on, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

What do you mean by “Editorial-style Photography” and “Cinematic video”?

Editorial style photography is a narrative-driven approach that showcases a home similar to what you see in architectural design magazines. It emphasizes composition, natural lighting, and the home's unique features. Cinematic video is a film-driven approach that aims to evoke emotion and create a connection with the viewer. It features artistic camera movements, slow-motion shots, and carefully selected music to create a story-like experience.

How do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule an appointment, simply visit our website at https://contrast.house and access our online booking platform. It's quick, easy, and accessible 24/7.

What's your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We understand that last-minute changes can happen, so we allow free cancellation and rescheduling up to 24 hours in advance of the shoot. Any cancellations or rescheduling made within 24 hours will incur a $50 fee. Canceling or rescheduling through our online booking platform is quick and easy, allowing you to make any necessary changes as soon as possible. We understand that the timing of preparing a property for a photoshoot can be challenging, which is why we're flexible and work with you to ensure the best possible outcome.

Can I reschedule due to bad weather?

Yes, we understand that weather can impact a shoot's outcome, and we will work with you to reschedule as necessary based on weather conditions. Please note that we reserve the right to decide if and when the weather requires a reschedule, but our goal is always to capture the best possible footage of your listing, and will always operate with that objective in mind.

Can I request a confidentiality agreement for private listings?

Yes, we understand the importance of maintaining the privacy and security of your clients, and we are open to signing confidentiality agreements upon request. Please contact us to discuss any specific needs or concerns you may have regarding confidentiality agreements for private listings.

Can I make special requests for certain types of shots or angles?

Absolutely! We encourage you to send over any special requests in advance and we will do our best to accommodate them. However, please keep in mind that our shooters cannot guarantee that every single request will be covered due to circumstances beyond our control. We’ll promise to communicate with you proactively to ensure there are no surprises and that you’re more than satisfied with your media package.

How do I prepare my property for the shoot?

Preparing your property for the shoot is essential to ensure the best possible outcome of your media package. We have created a pre-shoot prep list that includes details on how to clean and prepare your home, as well as suggestions for basic lawn/yard maintenance. We recommend that you follow this list to ensure that your property looks its best on the day of the shoot. Get the full pro-shoot checklist here.

What happens if the listing isn't in shoot-ready condition by the time the photographer/videographer arrives?

If you know in advance that the property won't be in shoot-ready condition, you can cancel or reschedule your appointment for free at any time with at least 24 hours notice. However, if our team arrives and the property is not in a shoot-ready condition, we reserve the right to reschedule the shoot and charge a $50 fee.

Can I have stagers, cleaning crew or workers on site during the shoot?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate stagers, cleaning crew, or workers on-site during the shoot. We ask that the property be fully prepped and ready for photography/videography upon our arrival.

How long will the shoot take?

The duration of the shoot varies based on the size and complexity of the property, as well as any add-ons requested. Typically, a standard photo package shoot will take between 1-2 hours, while a photo and video package can take 2-3 hours. If you have a larger property or additional services added on, the shoot may take longer. We work efficiently to capture all necessary shots while minimizing disruption to your schedule.

What's your turnaround time for delivering the final product?

We know that time is of the essence when prepping a home to hit the market. That's why we work efficiently to deliver your final product within 24-48 hours after the shoot. We value your business and want to help you launch your listing as successfully as possible.

How do I download and access my media package once it's delivered?

Once we've completed editing and processing your media package, we'll send you a link to a Google Drive folder where you can download all the image and video files. You'll have access to this folder for 30 days, giving you ample time to download all your media files. Simply click the link and download the files to your computer or other preferred device. If you have any questions or issues accessing the folder, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team for assistance.

Can I request changes to the edited photos or videos?

You got it! We believe in delivering a final product that meets your expectations and showcases your property in the best possible way. That's why we do our best to accommodate all reasonable editing requests. If your requests require a re-shoot or a larger revision, we'll communicate any associated costs in a timely manner. Ultimately, our priority is your satisfaction, so we'll generally do whatever we can to make that happen. Just let us know how we can best serve you and we'll take it from there!

Can I give the stagers, clients, or any other client the media (photos or video) provided by Contrast House?

No, you cannot distribute or resell the photos or videos without the explicit permission of Contrast House. As the copyright owner, Contrast House retains all intellectual property rights to the media, including the right to enforce those rights against infringers. It is important to note that all media produced by Contrast House is protected by the United States Copyright Act.
